Mission

PLAX is a Group made up of different companies which have been operating in the sector of moulding and processing plastic materials for over 40 years.  It specialises in the manufacturing of articles for many different sectors, analysed and designed according to customer requirements.
The process for the production of all our pieces is a highly flexible technological procedure which allows us to obtain manufactured articles of a complex shape with a limited equipment cost compared to other technologies.  This means we can offer our products as an alternative to other materials and technologies which are more costly and less flexible.

We have created and developed an in-house structure which allows us to supply, together with our products, all the solidarity and professionalism which a Group leader must possess and offer.

The synergy between the companies in the group leads to us having highly qualified staff who, with the help of the most advanced technologies regarding three-dimensional modelling, design and manufacture all the equipment which is used in our in-house production departments, guaranteeing a prompt response to every new market requirement.

The PLAX Group also specialises in the moulding of plastic materials in clean areas, suitable for the manufacturing of articles for the biomedical sector.  In fact, within its structure, the Group can boast 2 cleanrooms for the production of thermo-formed articles and a large clean area for injection moulding.
The strong point of the PLAX Group is being able to offer a complete service to its customers.  We are, in fact, able to assist the customer from the design to the manufacturing of the product, passing from design to fast prototyping, and lastly to the moulding phase.  To do this we have 8 different brand names, divided into 4 technologies.  We can, in fact, boast 3 companies which operate in injection moulding, a further three in vacuum thermo-forming, one company dedicated to fast prototyping, and another to high frequency welding.

Certifications

All our processes and manufactured articles are examined and checked by our staff in charge of quality control who use those technologies which are necessary to guarantee all the characteristics dictated by the ISO EN 9000 standard.  Through adopting the ISO 9001 system, all company activities are constantly monitored:  this results in effective and rapid decisions both when solving internal problems and when meeting customer requirements.
